As you all know, B.com has an aup (Acceptable Use Policy), which states prohibited uses as below: Prohibited Uses In our efforts to promote good citizenship within the Bondage.com community, we will respond appropriately if we become aware of inappropriate use of our service. In general, you may NOT use your Bondage.com account: * In a manner which violates any law, regulation, treaty or tariff; * To send unsolicited bulk or commercial messages ("spam"); * In a manner which violates the rules, regulations and policies of any network, server, web site, database or service provider that you access through your Bondage.com account; * In a manner which is defamatory, fraudulent, or deceptive; * To disclose other peoples' personal information, including real names, addresses, phone numbers, etc. * To threaten, harass, abuse or intimidate others; * To break security on any computer network, or to gain access to an account which does not belong to you; * In a manner which interferes with other customers' use and enjoyment of the services provided by Bondage.com * In a manner that puts unreasonable load on Bondage.com servers to the detriment of other users (e.g., automated processes that perform personals searches, "hot linking" images hosted by Bondage.com, etc) Please note that, these terms notwithstanding, site admins reserve the right to harass or abuse users who complain about not getting enough for free. Commercial Use Except where specifically noted otherwise, such as in the "For Sale" forum, you may not use the Bondage.com service to: * Promote any commercial goods or services;
[*] Serve images or profiles for any commercial goods or services Additional Restrictions and Notices In addition, some portions of Bondage.com including, but not limited to, IRC, Forums, and Matchmaker may have additional restrictions. See each section's detailed documentation for more information. Bondage.com reserves the right to refuse any or all services to anyone, at any time, for any reason. Bondage.com also reserves the right to amend or alter this AUP at any time, without notice. Now, we've usually left these rules to stand, hoping that users all go over them and leave it to the moderators to police the forums, removing or warning for posts that go against these rules. It's also been brought to our attention that we don't have a "specific" rule or form out there that applies to the blogs/groups, yet when you start a blog on here, you are also required/directed to read the aup for the forums/site. All forums also may have their own separate rules of conduct just like channels on IRC may have their own set of rules. Regardless of that, the site wide general AUP is always to be followed and adhered to, beneath the separate rules. Support's policy generally will be to not "police/moderate" groups/blogs unless they are pointed to them due to complaints from other users, at which point, the blog or group being complained about will be looked at and if it is breaking the general AUP in any way. If this occurs, the group owner or blog writer will be warned to make changes so that the group falls back under the rules. If for any reason you receive a reprimand or warning due to a complaint made, please adhere to the rules of the site so further action is not needed to be taken, which can and has resulted in users losing their accounts with us. You can email support@bondage.com with questions to this post at any time, as well as report misuse of blogs or groups.
