| Bondage.com was founded in 1996 by a couple of hopeless geeks. These geeks had the sheer dumb luck of originally registering the Bondage.com domain name back in 1994. From day one the key philosophies behind Bondage.com have been technical excellence and running a non-slimey adult site. You may have deduced from the .asp file extensions that we use Microsoft Active Server Pages. We do. It's a long story, but the bottom line is that they work pretty well and we've got more than 50,000 lines of code invested in them, so we're not likely to change. We're also Microsoft on the back end SQL server, for the same reason: we were lured in by low cost and rapid development, and have too much invested to change now. We are colocated at eXchange in San Francisco, California. We own, operate, and support all of our own hardware and networking infrastructure (mostly Cisco, some Alteon is appearing). The application you're looking at has been written completely by hand and by us. It's been arduous, but worth it, since we can achieve a level of integration across the entire app that nobody else in the industry is even close to.
