These 3 truck pictures probably look odd on a site like this... I put them up in support of this seatbelt thread that I started - http://bondage.com/topic_id/248214/forums/topic.html | |
 | The garden's not having a good year, but the morning glories are doing well. These are "flying saucer". |
Flying saucer and Star of Yalta. I love morning glories; a simple flower, but they teach you to live in the moment, because they only last one day. Appreciate them while you can, because they'll be gone tomorrow. | My favorite campsite, on a small lake in Northern Wisconsin. One of my very favorite places on the planet, in fact. I can't quite explain it, but when I'm sitting here, I feel more in harmony with my world than anywhere else on Earth. |
Another favorite place - Split Rock Lighthouse in Northern Minnesota, on the North Shore of Lake Superior. | Palisade Head, from the top of Shovel Point in Tettegouche State Park on the North Shore. Taken at the start of the season's first blizzard in December; there were 8 inches on the ground by the time I hiked to Palisade Head. It was a perfect day. |
Split Rock again, on a much colder afternoon - about 12 below zero that January day. | And to close the circle, this is a distant view of Shovel Point taken from the top of Palisade Head. This is an example of why I'm usually not online during summer weekends. |
Me, and a tent. And a mountain bike. And a small axe. And a thing in front of my eyes, because I like to hang onto a small shred of anonymity. | Look at me, I'm the king of the whole goddamned pond! Now if I can only figure out a way to get back down from here... |
Cascade River, on the North Shore. One of my favorite hiking trails. | Autumn sunsets are the best, don't you think? |
