It’s been a long day and I’m tired. I stretch and look around at the quiet, dim library where I’ve spent the last three hours of my day. As a reporter, it is often necessary to put in long hours on research, especially when doing a story like this one, but the subject matter has caused me to dig deeper than usual. When my editor first came to me with the idea of doing a story on the newly opened "dungeon," I laughed.

"A dungeon. Yeah, right. A dungeon right here in Denver." The idea seemed ludicrous.

"It’s true. Apparently there is quite an interest in this alternative lifestyle and I want you to do a story about it -- not a finger-wagging right-wing expose’, but an informative piece on the dangers surrounding this kind of indulgence. We owe it to our subscribers."

So here I am, researching the "BDSM Scene" as it was called, and finding myself oddly excited by what I was reading. Oh God… am I some kind of pervert?
