The View from Inside bondage.com: A year has blown by…

It’s amazing to think that it has been over a year since I’ve updated everyone on the site. We’re busy over here adding new sections and forming strategies to continue to provide the best and most comprehensive BDSM website community there is. During this year we’ve been hitting new milestones every month in users, pictures, matchmaker hotlists and more. Specifically, we’ve added our new features about the hottest and kinkiest topics we’ve come up with. We’ve also enhanced the matchmaker to let you find your match, look at their pictures and see their checklist.

New exciting additions are coming in the next month as well. First, however, I’d like to address some of the issues that I mentioned in the last column; we have been actively working with a number of companies to find cool interfaces to add to the website and IRC to allow for gaming in the community. With some sorrow, we have to report that, like most other .com’s, the partners that we were seeking have gone out of business. In one sense this is bad because we’d like to offer enhancements as quickly as possible, but in another sense it's good to only partner with companies who are profitable and have a future. We will not give up in our search for these add-ons and would love for you to contact us if you have any ideas.

Coming up is a new section put together by a politically active and generally crazy guy named “Baadmaster.” Look for it – you’ll find a unique and frequently updated collection of BDSM training. Baadmaster will be covering everything from simple collaring to incredibly kinky sexual and non-sexual BDSM. Here at bondage.com, we think BDSM and sex go hand in hand because we want your pleasure threshold to be tested -- Baadmaster and his cohort, Naia (who’s stories make you drool and squirm), will be fielding your questions in their joint column.

Also in store are a slew of high quality videos. We’ve got a number of good video providers, but we think we can offer some additional materials to our members that will really pique some interests. Look for a couple of hours of exclusive video material each month – we’ll be detailing that soon.

I’d also like to welcome a number of adult radio stations to our IRC network. We have both #desireradio and #dominateradio running as channels on IRC. Join one of those channels to find out more about some hot online music with just the right twist: bondage! You can also find them at desireradio.xybyx.tv and www.dominateradio.com. If anyone else is running a station, please contact us as we are providing shoutcast resources to our community!
