If that is their policy, moving the servers wouldn't affect anything. Although if not, ther would only be a problem for US users then. Splitting the site in two really wouldn't be sneaky (n my view) as much as it's a simple way to get the "naughty words" off the pay site... I thought it was a pretty good idea myself! This action by Visa seems especially bizarre to me because it seems like it would cause the closing of websites that are set-up as support networks for victims of a number of violent sex crimes that happened to accept credit card donations, ect. I mean, you do have to discuss this stuff if your site asks people to donate... Also, it seems a subscription-based web site that dealt with mental health and offered a "dictionary of mental illnesses" would have to close too. Hmm... I'm really shocked there are no laws that deny Visa the ability to leverage this type of direct control over its merchants. This move on Visa's part is much too broad as I understand it.
