I really thought the points about YKINMK were right on target for those that might not appreciate the sincerity of the love these two share, in their own way. Most of the available material is either a "text book of Kink Skillz" or a self-serving fantasy written as fapping-fodder. I know TD reasonably well since we were initially enemies and learned a lot about each other during the process of truce and the development of friendship. He's the man the book describes and the relationship with Dollie is exactly what it's portrayed to be. I'd enthusiastically recommend it to anyone that has dabbled a bit with some type of BDSM lifestyle but isn't positive of how it can develop over time, or who has become disillusioned and thinks such relationships are doomed. -- | |

Forum Newbie United States 99 Posts | I got the book quite a while back, but due to normal routines with classes, acting, and family life i had to stop reading it about half way through But on the bright side i took it to rehearsal with me today and finished it just a few minutes ago. Its a wonderful book and not counting the break taken due to a very hectic life lol, finished it in 3 days. Needless to say it was that good of a book. i have to say, Dollie, and Thorndaddy have a beautiful relationship. They blend well and like any couple have had their ups and downs, but more ups which makes it all the more wonderful. Congratulations on your relationship, your love, your newfound dreams, and of course the great book. The day it arrived, mom came for a visit and I read parts of it to her, and she went out and bought her own copy. Diary absolutely blew my mind. Never before have I seen such a true and honest representation of an S&M relationship. It's easy to read, in-depth, and intensely personal. I adore how Dollie takes the time to explain the BDSM lexicon to newbies, never forgetting that not everyone will know what the shortforms and monikers mean. But I think my absolute favorite thing about this book is how Dollie all at once conveys her love, devotion, adoration, obedience, and pleasure to be in this sort of relationship. The Appendix and recommended reading sections are full of useful information. I got a giggle out of the reviews of "mainstream" BDSM-themed movies and TV episodes. For everyone from newbie to lifelong player, this book has a little something for everyone, and I can't stop raving about it to anyone who will listen! Congrats, Dollie.
