Summary Bondage.com supports adding pictures to your profile via email -- for instance, from a cell phone equipped with a camera that can also email pictures to internet email addresses. 1. Understand Bondage.com's picture guidelines Please respect other peoples' privacy.  Just as with any profile picture, please do not take pictures of people without their consent.  Also remember that Bondage.com will reject any picture that appears to contain underage people, even in totally non-sexual contexts.  Yes, the kids at the local ice cream parlor are adorable.  No, their parents don't want their pictures on Bondage.com, and neither do we.  If you have any doubts at all about the appropriateness of posting a picture, don't upload it -- it will probably be rejected anyway. Pictures sent in via email are processed through the usual administrative approval process, so they will not appear (to other users) immediately.  However, they should appear as "waiting for approval" on your pictures page within a few minutes of sending. 2. Enabling your profile to accept emailed pictures Visit your user settings page.  Near the bottom, you will see a section titled "Personals pictures by Email."  This is a list of outside email addresses that are allowed to send pictures that will be automatically added to your profile (you wouldn't want just anyone adding pics to your profile, would you?).  Below, you'll find a detailed description of what each setting in the list does. You can add multiple picture sources to your profile, each with its own default settings. 3. Sending pictures to your profile Once you've configured your Bondage.com profile to accept emailed pictures, sending them in is easy.  Just email a picture to yourusername@pics.bondage.com.  It's that simple -- though if you want to override any of the default settings for the source, you may want to include a subject line (see below). To save typing, it's probably smart to add yourusername@pics.bondage.com to the contact list on your mobile device, if possible. Personals pictures settings Sender's address The email address that pictures will appear to come from.  For instance, "2135551212@vzwpics.com".  This needs to exactly match the address that will be sending pictures.  If you're not sure what address to enter here, try sending a picture email to an offsite email address and look at who it appears to be from.  Note: the source address for picture emails is often different than for text messages, etc.  Be sure to get the address from an actual picture email send from the device! Default Settings When pictures arrive, they are automatically added to your profile after the usual administrative approval process.  That means that you may not log back on to Bondage.com before the pictures go live.  These default settings will be applied to all incoming picture emails, except where overridden by commands in the picture message itself (more on that in a bit). Default Privacy This is the same as most privacy settings on Bondage.com -- you can choose to make new pictures available to everyone on the site, your hotlist only, or nobody. Default Position This defines where new pictures will go -- either as the first picture on your profile or as the last Default Description Whatever you enter here will be applied as the default description for new pictures arriving from this address.  For instance, "From my cell phone."  If you were going on vacation for a while and wanted to add pictures while away, you might temporarily change it to "From my vacation to the Alps."  If you want to accept pictures from multiple sources, you might want to set the first entry's default description to "From my cell phone" and a second entry's default description to "From my partner's cell phone." Default Vote setting This determines whether, by default, new pictures you send will participate in the "rate my pic" system. Overriding default settings Picture description You may override the default description for a picture by entering text in the subject line of the picture email. Other settings At present, other settings may not be overridden in the message.  Additional functionality in this area will appear over time, so check back here to see if new features have been added.
