Everything depends on the chemistry; all else, including the roles and relationship, flows from that and is open to variation. I prefer to incorporate D/s into a generally happy, "normal" relationship. I like an authoritative role such as tutor or guardian, and find that the foreboding atmosphere characteristic of a Dickens novel can be powerfully stimulating and evocative. Monogamy works well for me; I am not into multiple partners, polyamory, swinging, etc. I desire a LTR that will strengthen with time. I'm a fairly easygoing person, and appreciate subtlety and nuance.

My Ideal Person:
Looking for sparks with the sub. Seeking a single woman 30s to 40s who has personality and intellect. I prefer a non-smoker with no husband, boyfriend, or children living at home. (But don't automatically discard the idea of contactin me just because you haven't quit smoking yet or because you have replicated. Part of learning to fit together is accepting the fact that both parties have to adjust and compromise.) A gal who likes the outdoors, and is happy bicycling through a nature preserve, digging hen clams at low tide, or going camping, would be wonderful.
Honesty, fidelity, and trustworthiness are of the utmost importance to me. I would ultimately like to find not merely a playmate, but a partner. The important things are in here (thumps noggin) and in here (taps chest).
