In my opinion, the design is a bit of an eyesore, reminiscent of a visit to the eye doctor, much as I'm usually fond of a red and black color scheme. I also question the need for yet another flag, especially when the I know there's a desire on behalf of some D/S and M/S types to express their uniqueness from the scene-at-large, but do we really need another flag? --

Forum Slut United States 1,429 Posts | I saw the symbolism right off the bat, but frankly the flag doesn't do anything for me. And does the kinky world really need another symbol? Personally I still like the traditional Leather flag, it is similiar enough to show our history and alliance with the Gay Community to show are shared beliefs - that alternative sexulity is not only OK but should be celebrated. It's been around long enough that most people recognize what it stands for, even a few nilla people. I can understand why another subculture within our culture would want a flag/symbol of its own...but instead of pulling apart, we should be rallying under the "strips of blue and black".
