Forum Slut Spain 1,605 Posts | Having seen this in most check lists that can be found in various sites online, I am curious to ask what this mean to people? Do you see it as vampire play? Or maybe more extreme needle play? Or is the 'time of the month' applicable in some cases? What about knife play? Is it the subs blood or a blood substitute? You could also include needle play in the mix, although there frequently is not a lot of bleeding involved with needles. Knife play is more a sensation/fear thing than a cutting you with a knife thing. In my experience, cuttings in blood play are done with a single use surgical scalpel vs any old knife to prevent infection. I guess people may use non-sterile cutting instruments, but I would never consider doing this. Patrick | |

Cutting would be a definite, as well as needles. Else, if blood is just the comsequence of a play then is not blood play. For example: Whipping someones ass till blood is not a blood play if we just wanted to whip and make the sub feel it.
