Forum Maniac United States 5,751 Posts | I received your book "Diary of an S&M Romance" in the mail today. All I can say about it is OUTSTANDING!!! . I wanted to take it with me to Myrtle to read in 3 weeks but once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. I am sure I will have it read by Fri. You and ThornDaddy have a wonderful relationship. You two absolutley deserve each other.I am enjoying the emails sent back and forth you two sent each other. I want to stress, that I am learning alot that I didn't know about the BDSM world. (but then again we are always learning/educating ourselves). The quotes from the Bible that TD wrote were awesome. I have re-read them a couple of times. I do have to admit , I jumped to the interview chapter with Aiken and Pace and want to say ThornDaddy, you did a marevelous job on the interviewing(meow  ). I give big cyber hugs to you both for the writing of the book(TD was the editor). I highly recommend this book for all to read about the true love they found here on b.com. They both had their ups and downs in life but now they both are reaching for the sky. It truly is an amazing love story. Thanx again for the book and the signing of it. What a beautiful (realistic) view of love and devotion between two people. The dynamic is clear and Dollie maps out this dance of D's that we all know of but perhaps don't fully understand. Reading the love journey between TD and Dollie brings hope, honesty and clarity to D's. It is a must MUST read for anyone who is serious about entering into this type of relationship. More than that though, I feel this book would be a great read for anyone who has even a slight interest. Very well written. Down to earth and easy to relate to. Dollie and ThornDaddy have a really interesting take on the whole BDSM thing. They don't really preach about it, they don't pretend to be better than anyone who doesn't do it their way (and, trust me, the way I do it isn't the way they do it. That's assuming that I even am all that clear on how I do it) but no matter what you think of their kink, there's no doubt that these two people love each other, that they "get" each other, and that they are extremely well-suited to each other. I think even 'nilla folk who read it (assuming there are any) will see that, outside of the kink, this is really just a sweet love story. (Actually 'nilla peeps will probably just be disappointed that it isn't the surreal, fantastic BDSM-world so often portrayed in books & movies) Oh, and in case anyone was wondering if Dollie is as smart as ThornDaddy is always claiming she is--this book proves it! Can't wait to finish it...I may post more coherently then! ella

Thank you very much for the kind words. But I must clarify-- credit where credit is due. I didn't write the bible quotes. They're QUOTES! (which is why they're given attribution in the book.) I know that sometimes it may seem as if I wake up each morning, stand in front of my mirror, raise my hands and say "Lo, He gave to ThornDaddy, when he finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, the two tablets of the testimony, stone tablets, written with God's finger...." And Dollie’s too shy to mention it, so I will for her: She's going to be interviewed about the book on The Baadmaster’s Dungeon show on September 21, and on Dr. Susan Block’s show soon. (Confirmed, but no date set yet. We’ll let you know.) Thank you again, P/s. Just found out the Stockroom is going to carry it, for retail and wholesale. That's very cool, as they will get it into a lot of stores, and help spread Dollie's sweet words to the World. Yeah!
