Forum Maniac United States 4,608 Posts | I'm always seeing nicks with Mistress this or Mistress that. The title of this forum is "Yes Ma'am. I've always thought of a mistress being pussy on the side for a married man. I have a VERY experienced boi. I'm Ma'am. Who are you?
Humility is often only a feigned submission of which we make use to render others submissive. It is an artifice of pride which abases in order to exalt itself. Forum Apprentice Canada 138 Posts | [quote]missjoachim13: I've always thought of a mistress being pussy on the side for a married man. i have to admit that this was always one of the issues that i've had with the title, "Mistress." The idea that a mistress was for someone who was working outside of a committed relationship really bothered me. That's part of the reason that for the longest time, She was simply "Lady." It was formal, it was different, and it symbolized the importance that She had for me. It was really only after i had figured out the whole bit that this was quite the opposite, and really a very committed relationship that She and i were in, did She collar me, and did i add Mistress to Her name. Still, She remains Lady Mistress, a title that She understands the meaning of, and the significance of which is not lost of either of U/us. damn, i could have said that in one sentence like any other.... *sighs*

Forum Regular United States 995 Posts | I am Ma'am. Mistress is a title that someone I have a long standing relationship can earn the right to call me. But it's a more formal title in my eyes. -- "It's not the men in my life that counts--it's the life in my men."- May West "I don't have any plans - just a great outfit and bad intentions." -Sundayhangover.

*~*Jinx*~* United States 257 Posts | When I do the Domme thing, it totally depends on what sounds best coming from her pretty little mouth. I hate being called "Ma'am" though... I can't take it seriously. Usually I don't direct them... I see what they come up with on their own, and then either use that or correct them(the fun part!) until they find something I like Kinda sucks that none of the "Domme terms" have the same sinister ring to them as "Sir" can!! ~Jinx --- “If you believe in peace, act peacefully; if you believe in love, act lovingly; if you believe every which way, then act every which way…” ~ Tom Robbins "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." ~ Jimi Hendrix "You've got to do your own growing, no matter how tall your grandfather was." ~ Irish Proverb "You can kiss a fool, you can let a fool kiss you, but never let a kiss fool you" ~ Anonymous

Forum Apprentice United States 116 Posts | I will jack slap my subs for calling me mistress or ma'am or madame. in relation to me the words mean: A madame is a female pimp A mistress doesn't get the time devoted to her she deserves or she would be his wife. And I refuse to grow old and ma'am is what you tell your grandmother when she yells at you. Mine call me M'Lady.....or else. Note: I do not feel that this is what the other ladies who are on this thread are as stated above and if I offended any fo the other ladies here, I apologize. Edited by - LadyFeri on 2009-05-13 13:59:24 Words actually have multiple meanings, whether you like the words or not. I am not calling a woman a pimp when I address her as "Madame." It means "my lady" and it means I'm speaking to a French woman.
