3 Posts		I'm not really looking for information what to wear during play. I imagine I'd get a lot of answers along the lines of "nothing" or "lingerie" and I'm totally on board. _wink

My question is: Doms/dommes, what do you like your sub to wear outside of the bedroom? Or subs, what do you like to wear to get your dom/domme all hot and bothered?

I've been looking on some fetish websites and, aside from the odd schoolgirl costume, most of the women's clothing seems geared towards Dommes.

I'd be interested in hearing what kind of 'subbie' clothing turns you on, if anything.

4,228 Posts		My Master is not very picky about clothes. I have a shirt that has a zipper up the front, and He likes that, for obvious reasons. Other than that, I usually wear tee shirts and jeans or shorts, and He doesn't really care. He likes me to go without panties, though.

I always wonder what to wear when meeting up with a potential play partner. I like to look sexy, but am not really sure if the whole 'first date' look works in that situation.

I love some of the fetish wear out there, but wouldn't be caught dead going out for coffee or dinner in some of it!

Usually my wife wears dresses in public, even in winter because she's from Mexico and always misjudges how "cold" winter gets up north. I don't request them but it might make me sad if she suddenly stopped.

In terms of your lingerie issue, most of what we own and what I prefer to see borders on "domme." But then, I love the fight she brings and she would be very out of place in something that made her look innocent. Not that "dainty and fragile" isn't a good look after it's bruised and discarded.

Honestly, everyone is different. If, for example, you were meeting up with a "Goth" dude, then they'd likely prefer you dressed that way, as opposed to "Country" boy, who'd dig it if you were in jeans and boots. Me personally, I LOVE women to dress very feminine and "girly" -- i.e., skirts, heels, dolled-up, etc.

In short, it just depends. But personally, I'd suggest dressing how YOU like to dress because ultimately you want to feel comfortable as yourself, and that whomever you're meeting with likes you for you.

For me personally, I like when the girl I'm with and I look like we "fit" together, so to speak -- so purple hair, for example, wouldn't cut it for me.

153 Posts		Personally, I fancy my subs to wear something fresh, I find them most attractive in crisp lettuce green and deep tomatoe red. A hint of black olive or bell peppers might be the perfect accessory, although I'd have to admit that no sub could be complete without at least two shades of cheese and a touch of oil to reflect the light in the most alluring manner possible.

Mayonnaise is always a joyous addition if I am feeling particularly daring, as well.
