I have long been a fan...

I loved him in the movie "The Holiday"...he had amazing chemistry with Kate Winslet and his portrayal of a blacklisted writer on that "Studio 60" show was both poignant and rightfully angry and powerful!

Not so certainly...

Kevin McCarthy is 95, has a movie out this year, one in post-production and one currently filming.

And, while I'm aware of no current credits, Gloria Stuart (who played opposite Claude Raines in the original The Invisible Man) is 99 and a SAG card holder.

Eli's a great actor; always lots of fun. But he was having a bit of hyperbolic fun, with that "oldest" thing.

He'll always be "Tuco" to me from the movie "The Good, The Bad & the Ugly." He had one of the best lines in the movie: "When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk."

I'm not usually one to nitpick, but Wallach was not the first Mr Freeze, he was the third, after George Sanders and Otto Preninger.
Sorry.
But nevertheless, an impressive filmography.

Glad he isn't dead too.

He is a good solid character actor from the old school/studio system.

He was also in a lot of the Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns from the late 60's I think.

I stand corrected:

Kevin McCarthy, certainly one of the greatest ever (true of MOST McCarthys) Kevin Mc also had "Leading Man" status which Eli W never garnered

Suffice it to say, they are the greatest and oldest working actors alive today

Gloria Stuart hasn't worked in decades...

If, by "decades", you mean "5 years", then yes. She hasn't worked (according to IMDb) in 5 years.
