19,999 Posts		I would know if my bookmarks, and my memory, weren't such a mess. There's a Germany site sells the mouth pear. And someone else making the vaginal/anal pear. Can never remember the names of the sites. I'll see if I can find them tonight. Keep meaning to change the bookmark names to the prominent items the sites sell.

2,808 Posts		Like Nyckname I have been unable to find it although I have seen the modern play safe version for sale. It doesn't have any sharp edges to it and thus will not cause the extensive bleeding and subsequent death that the actual pear was known to cause. Unfortunately, I also doubt it's anywhere near as painful. It looks like it would be uncomfortable at best.

However there are lots of photographs around the web of medieval pears of anguish and I'm sure if you sent some to Hans at SM Factory (along with a few thousand dollars) he could whip something up for you.

historical photos and they look a bit 'used'.
2nd hand seems way too gross!

anyway, the speculum route would be my first choice

3,327 Posts		I found a site called vaginalpear.com..http://www.vaginalpear.com .I guess they were known as Pope's pears, and used to get confession from witches during the spanish inquisition.AKA The Screw of the inquisitors, choke pears, mouth pears, anal pears, or vaginal pears. I will look more later for some for sale in Germany..or Europe maybe..

1,594 Posts		The modern pear used to be made and sold by bdsmtoyfactory.com, but it disappeared from their site some time ago, and now the site itself has been down for reconstruction since May. It says they're coming back, but it's been a while.

Wish I'd bought one from them before, because it was a beautiful thing, and around $300 as I recall. I would second the suggestion that SMFactory in Germany might be able to make one, but as noted, it's likely to cost a lot more than that.
