Yeah, I'm gonna look through my profile. I'm not really into spread my hole life inbefore strangers, but I'm sure, there are some information I could share.

The description is somehow not very friendly, I've read so much nicer things here. Monkeys, didn't look like that.

You don't have to give away all your secrets. It just helps everyone to relate to you if there's some basic info. A lot of us tend to check a profile before we answer a post. People with similar interests would be more interested in talking to you than someone who has nothing in common with you. Just like in the real world.

Also, if the profile is empty, some of us tend to just ignore you all together. We get a lot of fake profiles, those tend to have no info in them.

And uploading some kid of picture will help. We get used to seeing a certain picture and knowing who you are. If I'm just scanning a thread, I'll stop to read a post from someone I recognize. Doesn't have to be a picture of you. It could be a pic of a sledgehammer. It just helps your friends pick you out of the crowd.
